EA continues it's attempts to acquire Take-Two by turning directly to shareholders for a hostile approach, Gamespot.com reports. The game company seeks to gain control over the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Two Bit News investigators have managed to uncover EA's true movitvation. Jealousy. The sports franchise hogging mogul is angry that the GTA series continues to innovate with each iteration. EA believes this to be a destructive force in the game development community. Being game pursits, they believe that it should employ the same gameplay every year and then be dubbed over with John Madden's voice. When asked for comment, EA CEO John Riccitiello had this to say "John Madden is still alive?". There you have it, EA is making yet another step in the fight to preserve "classic" gaming.
