Rockband is turning Japanese. What new crazy features can we expect?

Thats right, Rock Band is headed to the land of the rising sun! (thats Japan for those of you who unfamiliar with flags). Harmonix has struck a deal with Q (makers of Lumines) to bring the game over seas and give it a unique Japanese feel with a new look and music.

The world is in an unfortunate state these days. Gaming doesn’t have the stranglehold on popularity that it once did. I remember a time where brandishing a Luigi tattoo on your left butt cheek was all it took to be accepted in society. Now it has the opposite effect, and I’m stuck with this cartoon plumber on my ass.

Rockband finally hits Wii this June with a no frills added announced by Harmonix today.

The good folks over at Gametrailers the set will sell for $169 and come out June 22nd....IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME!
