The PC version of stupendous fighting game Street Fighter IV will be released this summer, Capcom has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.

Christian Svensson, Capcom vice president, business development and strategic planning, said that he was in talks with peripheral manufacturer Mad Catz on the possibility of bundling its Street Fighter IV pads and fighting sticks with the game.

Street Fighter IV was released on Xbox 360 and PS3 last Friday to critical and commercial acclaim. We gave it a well deserved 9/10, and it's currently the number one selling game in the UK, as well as the fastest-selling traditional beat 'em up since the All Formats Chart began in 1997.

The game, however, was originally announced for the PC as well as Xbox 360 and PS3, and some PC gamers have expressed concern that they are being left out in the cold.

Asked when the PC version will be out, Svensson said: "Let's say summer."

He added: "We rolled out our Mad Catz sticks and pads, and the interesting thing to note about all of those sticks and pads is they all work with PC as well. We may, and I'm in talks with Mad Catz to figure out how can we actually do some bundles of pads and Street Fighter IV PC."

Svensson also said that the 360 and PS3 versions of SFIV is "exceeding forecasts" and is "on track to do some pretty amazing things".

"We are thrilled," he said. "We set the bar really high for ourselves numbers wise in our forecasts and we are exceeding forecasts in a very healthy way. We're really really pleased. It's great that Street Fighter IV is there to help reinvigorate the fighting space. It's been received far better than we could have imagined. The fans have been incredibly supportive.

"I don't want to make an outrageous statement that I can't back up. When we can back it up I'll make an outrageous statement. It's on track to do some pretty amazing things. I'll say that."

If you didn't understand this piece of advice, it's because you don't play Animal Crossing, and therefore, are not a complete idiot. Congratulations.

Top 7 Makeshift Weapons for Fighting the Undead

Vampires. Mummies. My love life. What do these things have in common? They’re all dead, and the legends of their deeds will be the foundation of nightmares for years to come. We all fear the day when the reanimated corpse of Abraham Lincoln meanders down the street, thirsting for vengeance, brains, and a hat that won’t restrict his ability to enter a parking garage.

We've all been in that situation we hate. In the 9th hour of a Smash Brothers Brawl, or Halo 3 session when Mr. hunger comes knocking on our stomach lining like an angry husband returning from a deadly salmon run to find you sleeping with his wife.

Top 7 Iron Mans

No, we didn’t make a mistake. The title is, in fact, “Top 7 Iron Mans,” not “Iron Men.” We’re counting down the 7 people that have best honored the iron name with great accomplishments and general bad-assery. Some of these may shock you, but rest assured, they are rated by the highest authorities on the subject matter (or any subject matter, as far as we’re concerned): hardcore gamers.
