GTA IV Voice Actor Shunned by Rock Star Games Family

February 10, 2009 by SSXallnight

VICE CITY - Someone should have told voice actor Michael Hollick that performing like a pampered Princess Peach would make him one of the lost and the damned, almost literally.

Months after complaining that his salary for his performance of the lead character, Niko Bellic, was meager compared to profits made by the company on sales of Grand Theft Auto IV; the word around town is that Rock Star Games has no interest in giving the voice actor new lines in the expansion, "The Lost and the Damned". An executive has allegedly said "hell no" to the notion of bringing Hollick back to the studio.

This just goes to show you that people involved with organized crime, in any fashion, no matter how fictional, do not put up with whiners. Luckily for Hollick, his life is nothing like the life of his video game counterpart or he'd probably be locked inside the trunk of a car by now, accompanied by a group of large, heavy rocks, inside of a body bag, on his way to the river for a "swim".

Hey Rock Star, I've got an idea for an additional expansion pack...

Recheck your credit card balance -- if you're close to the limit, now is the time to settle up. There are lots of ways to manage debt like shaking trees and selling the apples that fall out. If you didn't understand this piece of advice, it's because you don't play Animal Crossing, and therefore, are not a complete idiot. Congratulations.

Game Obituary: RIP Comix Zone's Sketch Turner

March 10, 2009 by Jack Belmont

It would seem Sega is no longer a franchise but more importantly the video game industry has moved on from strictly 2D games. A pity really, since all that is Comix Zone will be lost forever.
