FORUM HEALING MAYHEM – Changes to mana regeneration in World of Warcraft are abundant as Blizzard tries to pick up the fallen pieces of their Wrath release.
Taken from a resto shaman player's standpoint, the delightful topic on healing that was sparked during 3.0.8.2 (that secret patch that made Sapphiron turn the raid into a Leonardo diCaprio carcass falling into the pits of the Atlantic) and became live in the stealthy 3.0.9 that never got mentioned on World of Warcraft's website has taken the WoW forums by storm.
Bornakk posted (days ago, archaic in post years—but we forum posters keep the fire rolling) about mana regeneration changes happening, reducing the effectiveness of spirit and some paladin abilities. In 3.0.9, these are live (and personally untested. It likely sucks.)
The shamanism in me danced with glee when I saw shamans didn't get the axe, so it was necessary to participate in the rate the best resto shaman above you game that people do to sate the addiction while attending WoW Addicts Anonymous sessions. Heading over to the healing forums (where we players can fight over who is more uber instead of staying in our peaceful little class corners), there was a turn for the worse for the shaman; Ghostcrawler kicked resto shamans out of the forums and proceeded to allow the one moment of happiness get flooded with "wtf?" paladin posts, even though I think people were clearly excited about the hint-hint on the restoration tree totems merging into one super totem Power-Ranger-style.
How do we cope? Doing an "are we there yet" broken record post.
