So, yeah, Watchmen comes out this week. I know, I'm excited too ... and I don't even read graphic novels. The FX they've shown in the previews are out of this world and the women of course look slick and sexy as only comic book heroines can. As the media-blitzing for the film has gone, one woman in particular has piqued our interests here at 2BN: Malin Ackerman.
Currently on the cover of Women's Health Magazine, native Swede Ackerman has taken on the role of Silk Spectre II in the Watchmen film and has by all accounts mastered the role. But did we mention she's Swedish? Suddenly the idea of watching half of NYC killed off on the big screen doesn't seem so bad. (Oh... ouch, yeah I hope we didn't ruin the ending for you...)
Malin is still a relative newbie to the film circuit, so we have started a little letter writing campaign to her agent Ari Gold to encourage he NOT cast her in Medellin 2, but instead get her temperature about starring in 2BN Productions' upcoming Wild Things 4: Where the Wild Things Are. Its our children's book adaptation of the classic picture book, but with nudity! We've workshopped it - its been well-received.
