I'm a psychotic Sybil-case that chews on my fingernails and goes by the names April, Mary, and Jane. No, seriously, my name is Kourtnie McKenzie, and I'm from Orange County, California.

TwoBitNews has given me the wonderful opportunity to post on one of my dear passions, playing video games, the number two passtime that goes under "writing" on my "what to do" list. I spend most of my gaming time playing World of Warcraft, but I also have a secret love for all the handheld systems I can get my hands on, including the ones that challenge my two years of Japanese classes from high school where all I remember how to say is "Where's the bathroom?"

I am currently trying to get a novel published. It's a high fantasy with two female protagonists, the tasty kind. While I have to keep my novel locked away in a bomb shelter so I don't accidentally violate my first time publishing rights, I have my own blog that I write a fictional piece in every day.

I also have a website that connects to all the places I /sit /stand on all over the internet. Every time a person links to it, an animal at a shelter is adopted. True story.

Oh, and on that note, I am also an animal lover. I often jest about charging fees at the door for people to enter our zoo-house. I live with three cats, four parrots, five lizards, and another human.

I will shamelessly advertise the million dollar kitty. (The other two are adopted, I swear. I don't know how I got talked into a full breed one.) Enjoy!
